Costa Rica Lodging
You can choose Costa Rica lodging on one of the coasts or inland at San Jose or Monteverde. It doesnt matter whether you choose the Pacific or the Caribbean coast because the lodging is basically inexpensive and elegant. You can choose to have a villa or condo type resort or even rent a bamboo beach house. The lodgings have air conditioning and either a patio, veranda or balcony for you sit outside and enjoy the beautiful sunset. The cost of Costa Rica lodging is fairly inexpensive not like you would expect to find in such a tropical paradise. Many of the resorts offer all-inclusives so that the meals are included in the price of the room. Although individual rooms are available, suites are more the norm being large enough to accommodate groups of 6 or 8 people. The typical tourist season is from December to April, but off-season rates from may to November mean you get the deluxe lodging cheaper than $25 per day. This is the rainy season, but it does not rain continually, just for a short period each day. It is very easy to find Costa Rica lodging, but if you travel during the tourist season it is best to have reservations made before you arrive. Even if you dont there is still lodging to be found, but tourists like to stay in the larger hotels and resorts so they feel safe and secure. Most students who travel to Costa Rica to learn Spanish stay with a family so that they are totally immersed in the culture. Tourists can also take this route but this has to be arranged before you arrive. | ||
